Bonus Once Rule
Sweden: a bonus may be offered only on the first occasion a player plays any of that licensee's games.
Definition
The Bonus Once Rule is 14 kap. 9 § of the Swedish Spellag (2018:1138) — not "Section 14", which is how it is usually cited in English and which names a chapter rather than a provision. The text is narrow and literal: "En licenshavare far endast vid det forsta tillfallet da en spelare spelar pa nagot av licenshavarens spel erbjuda eller lamna bonus." The trigger is the first occasion the player plays any of the licensee's games, not the first deposit and not a welcome offer as a marketing category, so reload bonuses, no-deposit bonuses and cashback all fall outside what a Swedish licensee may offer after that point.
