Definition

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission regulates online gambling under the Online Gambling Regulation Act 2001. Its 2017 regulations were among the first in a Tier 1 jurisdiction to let licensees accept convertible virtual currencies, and it now lists a Token/Blockchain Software Supplier Licence as a named B2B category. The current fee schedule (GBP 5,250 application; GBP 36,750 full licence) dates from 6 July 2023.
