Sweden's gambling regulator since 1 January 2019 re-regulation under the Spellag.
Definition
Spelinspektionen is the Swedish Gambling Authority established under the 2018 Spellag (Gambling Act) when Sweden re-regulated the online gambling market on 1 January 2019. It supervises the Commercial Online Gambling Licence framework and administers Spelpaus, the central self-exclusion register.
